Kvar u strukturi stvarnosti (A Glitch in the Structure of Reality)
Dragi mladi umu,
Očekuj tišinu, a zatim šapat.

Dear Young Mind,
If by any chance we know each other, and if I recognize in you that rare breed of talent that resembles neither ambition, nor diligence, nor a desire for success, but rather a glitch in the very structure of reality, I have one request for you. Not advice, not a moral lesson, not a lecture. A request.
Reveal nothing.
Not because knowledge is dangerous, nor because science is a mistake. Quite the contrary. The problem lies not in what you might discover, but in what the world currently is. We live in a civilization that translates every new idea first into the language of power, profit, or control, and only if something survives, might it remember the people. This is not a theory; it is practice. It is the way this system breathes.
If you create something truly important, do not think that those who wish to help will arrive first. Those who arrive first will have budgets, lawyers, and smiles rehearsed before a mirror. They will tell you they support you, that they believe in you, that you are the future. In translation, they will tell you that what you have made no longer belongs to you. A patent, they say, protects. In reality, it often merely publishes the exact address of that which is worth looting.
If you publish a paper in a scientific journal, do not fool yourself into thinking you have entered a temple of knowledge. You have entered a pipeline. At one end is the idea, at the other is interest. Everything in between is administration. If your invention is powerful enough, you will very quickly learn that there are studies "too significant to be public," and projects funded without questions but with very clear expectations. The world loves geniuses until they start asking the wrong questions.
If, God forbid, you find a cure for all diseases, do not expect the applause of humanity. Expect silence, and then a whisper. Expect meetings where serious discussions will be held about sustainability, market stability, and phased implementation. Health is, unfortunately, often a bad business model. The system loves chronic conditions, lifelong therapies, and small increments that can be charged in installments. One-time liberation does not fit easily into a spreadsheet.
You may think I am exaggerating. You may find me cynical, bitter, or old-fashioned. I would love to be wrong. But history is a stubborn teacher. Nuclear physics got the explosion before the light. Informatics got surveillance before wisdom. Biology got laboratories with locked doors before free healing. Every time the same: power first, ethics later, if ever.
I know what you will tell me. If everyone who sees the problem decides to stay silent, only the unscrupulous remain. True. That is why I am not asking you to stay silent forever. I am asking you to stay silent until you learn where you have arrived. Until you realize that the world is not a neutral stage, but a mechanism. Until you understand how ideas are seized, renamed, and returned to the world in an altered, often more dangerous form.
Work. Learn. Write. Record. Think deeper than they ask you to. Keep your notebooks safe. Do not publish too soon. Do not trust compliments that arrive attached to fifty-page contracts. Learn the difference between recognition and appropriation. If necessary, learn how to hide what you know — not out of fear, but out of responsibility.
You do not owe humanity your discovery. Humanity owes you proof that it is capable of not turning it into yet another tool of domination. Until then, your knowledge has the right to silence. Not as an escape, but as preparation.
If you carry fire within you, do not immediately throw it into a room full of fumes. Perhaps one day there will be a place where that fire will warm, not burn. Until then, guard it. The world has not yet learned how to hold it in its hands.
